在眾多影集中,選擇how I met your mother做文訓練英文聽力,除了不會打瞌睡外,還會因為太搞笑想知道劇情而迫不及待地學下去。因此這一系列文章會分享在學習過程中,我將整理看到有趣的句子或單字,除了做為我自己的學習記錄外,讓有興趣的人也能在歡樂爆笑中提升英文力!

  • bunk down 睡覺

4.ever since 自從。ever是強調since用的,沒有其它意思。

  • I get to sleep我知道了
  • ex : I get to sleep knowing i will never travel to China again.

  • turn on打開(電視 、機器)
  • turned on  引起興趣或興奮的感覺(尤指性慾方面).  turn sb. on / turn sb. on 常被用來形容兩性間的吸引力, 卻不一定只能用在這方面。一般說來, 凡是可以引起你情緒上激昂的東西
  • ex: As a product manager, you have to turn the sales on to sell the products.
